The Student Assistance Foundation announced the 10 Graduation Matters communities who will be receiving $50,000 in grants.Each community will receive $5,000 to be sent on ways that will contribute to college careers.
The plan includes promoting the the Free Application Federal Student Aid with teaching staff and placing promotional materials in the community and at schools.
"By increasing the number of students in their schools who complete the FAFSA, it is estimated Montana students and their families will receive $2.2 minion in grant awards for their visits and providing scholarships for college and dual-enrollment college course," said Superintendent Juneau.
Communities receiving from the Graduation Matters Montana Student Assistance Foundation College readiness Fund: Anaconda, Billings, Great Falls, Hamilton, Heart butte, laurel, Livingston, Miles City, Missoula and Wolf Point.
